I was asked what ISAL means to me. The first question popped in my mind, what if there was no ISAL. If I was left alone on my means, I would still have met new people, and I would definitely have survived 5 long years in Belgium some or the other way. But ISAL did made a big difference in my life ! I met life long friends, and I lived as well as loved my life in Belgium ! By engaging in ISAL activities, I rediscovered myself, my calibre and most importantly my 'Happiness' at a place that I can proudly call 'my second home' ..... Jai Hind, Jai Belgium !

Maate,

If there was anyone capable of 'taking care' of all that ISAL did in the last year and a half... if one could say that ISAL was in 'safe hands' and could glide effortlessly through its seemingly glitch-free journey towards all the successes it has enjoyed, and if one could say that there was a 'Maate', showering all her love and dedication towards the tremendous effort that ISAL has proven to be, through thick and thin, right from learning the hindi alphabet 'Ru' all the way to compiling videos and organizing the T.T...not to forget the strong legacy that our 'dada' (Sagnik) left you (and others) with... to look back and realize that you will stand out as a true Queen, for as long as you reigned this kingdom of ISAL and made all us subjects happy.... one could not forget all the food you fed (or prepared for!) us... one could neither forget that you were all ears when we came back to you with all our complaints... and one could definitely not forget that you were ready to move 'heaven and earth' to look for any possible solutions we needed (specially seeking Arul's assistance while he also showed commensurate drive to support you)... to have ensured that you have passed on your kingdom into able hands (Tarun, we need a call sign for him now!)...

This is but a mere and certainly an exiguous testimony to all of the above. It will be an honour and pleasure to have your inputs (as little as they may be!) for our activities henceforth!

Thank you for being there.
