No matter how long the winter, spring is sure to follow!!! Nature begins its celebration, the land opens up its wonders, and daisies peep through the pea-green grass. The trees glow in different colored blossoms and spread the fragrance all around. Spring with its diverse beauty is awaited with excitement all around the world.
This spring, nature is throwing one of its unique spring parties at Keukenhof and make sure you are attending it with us on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Keukenhof is the largest and most famous flower park in the world, located in Lisse, Netherlands and can be visited on a day trip from Leuven. It is home to more than 7 million flower bulbs that are planted every year. Gardens and four pavilions show a fantastic collection of tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, orchids, roses, carnations, irises, lilies and many other flowers. You will be overwhelmed by a spectacle of colors and perfumes.
The day with us, offers you a unique opportunity to witness Bloemencorso Bollenstreek, the annual flower parade, which is a feast, brimming with colorfully decorated cars. Additionally, you can also see the blooming Dutch tulip fields around Keukenhof on a bike or boat ride. This scintillating view is a paradise for photography enthusiasts.

Since the inception of ISAL trips, student and non-students from diverse background and nationalities have participated in our events, creating an ideal platform for the interaction and building new friends amidst fun-filled travel experience.

- The coach includes AC and WC facilities.
- For attendees with children, as per law, a child should be given a full seat. If your child needs "Autostoel" (baby car seat), then please bring your own. Autostoel is not provided. The baby strollers can be stored in the coach trunk.

VISIT INFORMATION
- The park entrance ticket and map will be provided on boarding the bus. The map will guide you to the various flower exhibitions and displays. The park has several restaurants or cafeteria to choose for Lunch. The locations marked on the map will guide you to places to eat. Consult the park map here.
- Cycling in the area - Explore the beautiful, colorful surrounding flower fields on a bicycle! Outside the park near the main entrance, Keukenhof hires out women's, men's and children's bicycles and even tandems. They have prepared four different signposted routes for you, with distances ranging from 5 km to 25 km. The bicycle company provides more details and map for the flower fields while renting the bicycle. The bicycle rent is NOT included in the ISAL trip ticket price. - Whisper boat trips around Keukenhof : Relax as you enjoy the peace and quiet of the endless bulb fields around Keukenhof in an electrically-propelled whisper boat. These boats travel through the beautiful Dutch flower bulb landscape in virtual silence. The boat trip takes 45 minutes. Spectacular photos are guaranteed! At the mill in the park, you can buy tickets for boat trips on the day of purchase. This activity is NOT included in the ISAL trip ticket price. Participants are free to explore at their choice. - The flower parade (Bloemencorso Bollenstreek) : The flower parade is a feast brimming with beautiful colors and delicious perfumes. Twenty huge floats and thirty lavishly decorated cars follow a 42-kilometer route from Noordwijk to Haarlem. The flower parade passes Keukenhof around 15:30 Hrs. along the road Westelijke Randweg (N208) just opposite the main entrance. If you plan to enjoy this spectacular sight where the natural beauty of flowers meets human skill, then do come early to find a good spot. Please find more information here.
